Eco-film Series at Dayton Peace Museum02/11/2012 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon @ Dayton International Peace Museum, 208 W. Monument Ave., Dayton Eco-film Series: To Frack or not to Frack? Increasingly that question is driving the political and economic agenda of Ohio, with industry promises of jobs, prosperity and cheap energy for all. But at what expense ? to our environment, to our health, and to our way of life? You cannot avoid hearing the avid and seductive appeal of the gas lobby through the news, through their ?educational? efforts, and through their political allies. Now, hear an alternative voice in our February eco-film, Gasland. This controversial film casts a critical eye on gas company promises and raises questions concerning the safety and environmental impact of fracking or hydraulic fracturing, as it is more properly known.
